Welcome to digitalporch.net. My name is Andrew Giles and I am 24 years old. I have obtained an associates degree in liberal arts from Caldwell Community College as well as a bachelors degree in multimedia arts and sciences from The University of North Carolina Asheville. I currently live in Asheville, NC where I work as a web/multimedia designer and programmer for The Wired Mouse, Inc.

While working at The Wired Mouse I have been responsible for many projects including; web design, database design and administration, custom programming and server deployment/administration. Through my education and real world training I have developed a vast knowledge of computer software. These titles include, but are not limited to; The Adobe and Macromedia Suites for web graphic design and video, Maya and Blender 3D modeling, Microsoft Visual Studio and various audio recording and editing applications. My primary focus is interactive design and developing custom programming solutions for business. These include developing content management for websites, customer relationship management, point of sale and document management solutions just to name a few. My current clients include real estate agents, lawyers, retail businesses, non-profit organizations, and wholesalers. 

Digital Porch is a place to display projects in order to gain more clients as a developer as well as being a place to share my work with other people that have similar interests. By viewing my work, a potential client will realize that I am the right candidate for the job, based on my vast knowledge of software and creative eye.
